the story behind the art: Face began as a frustrating muddy industrial grey mess. I was using tools and acrylic medium for a highly textured look. I gently carved grey-olive green ridges across the canvas and feeling defeated for the night left the canvas out to dry in my living room. Inspiration struck after watching a local artist demonstrate their splatter paint style, which is the same technique as mine but looks completely different once the canvas is done.
